"April’s sessions are well thought out with a clear vision and expected outcome for each session. She provides the right balance between consultancy and inviting participants to identify their own solutions.
April meets her workshop participants in a calm and friendly manner and demonstrates a great ability to listen, be flexible and open-minded, thus embracing the input, ideas and different needs of the group."

Your inclusion guide
Hi, I'm April!
In 3rd grade, I had a teacher that didn't know how to deal with my gifted tendencies and would often send me out to work in the classroom that served students with intensive needs. What the teacher thought was a punishment turned into my passion!!
While teaching for 20 years, I identifyed ways to create a better school environment that can promoting inclusivity and creating a more equitable learning environment for all learners.
In 2018, I decided I needed to pour 100% of my focus into building the inclusive capacities of schools and changing the future for the neurodiverse.
Today I proudly work with top schools and organizations on their inclusion practices and am a speaker among world-leading teacher conferences.
